Exterior Walls

• Check and repair cracks in foundation
• Recaulk joints in siding
• Check window well and cellarways for debris
• Check all wood surfaces for paint failure and damage
• Renail loose siding and trim replace any rot
• Check for carpenter ants and bees nests
• Wash siding
• Check decks and patios for loose boards or stones

Roof

• Check for damaged shingles
• Inspect flashings
• Check chimney for losses or missing mortar
• Clean gutters, downspouts and repair as needed
• Check vents and louvers for broken screens
• Check soffits and fascias for paint failure

Doors and Windows

• Clean screens and check for damage
• Replace worn or damaged weatherstripping
• Apply new caulk around window and door openings if needed
• Lubricate all movable parts
• Clean and lubricate tracks for sliding doors

Heating and Cooling

• Have central air system checked
• Clean and service humidifier

Electrical

• Check all cords and plugs
• Check generator system

Interior Surfaces

• Check for dark stains and bulges on ceiling and walls
• Clean and seal dingy tile grout

General

• Clean dust from refrigerator condenser
• Check smoke detectors / change battery

 FALL

• Vacuum exterior of heating unit
• Drain and refill hot water heater
• Have chimney flue checked and cleaned
• Have fireplace cleaned and inspected

Plumbing

• Check for faucet drips and leaks
• Shut off and drain outside hose bibs
• Baths check for any signs of leaks

General

• Clean dust from refrigerator condenser
• Check smoke detectors / change battery
• Have snowblower serviced
